HOUSE FAILS TO VOTE ON THE LAW OF INFRASTRUCTURE

voteRaised the Presidency of the House of Representatives today’s session to next Monday, after the failed Council to vote on the law of infrastructure. quoted a source in the information department of the parliament as saying that a number of deputies from different political blocs walked out of the hall during the presentation of the law to a vote, prompting the Chairman of the Board Osama Najafi to adjourn the meeting, after obtaining the defect in the quorum.

source added that today’s session saw the second reading of the draft law on accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction Act, modulated, and the law of the Ministry of Transport.
