On Thursday, confirmed by the Iraqi Vice President Noori Al Maliki and the Australian Ambassador about enhancing the bilateral relations and importance between Iraq and Australia. Maliki’s office issued a press statement that the Australian Ambassador Lendl Sachs met with the Iraqi Vice President Noori Al Maliki after the completion of appointment time period in Iraq. Both sides stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Australia.
The press statement further added that both sides aimed to make bilateral relations much better between Australia and Iraq in order to get their friendly objectives in most of the sectors between both countries. Point to be noted that both sides has managed the latest developments regarding the war against terrorism and major role of the Australian Armed Forces to maintain the Iraqi security situation much better. The Iraqi government is working very hard to get back its land from Daash terrorists and sunni militants. Australia is one of those countries that are cooperating the Iraqi Security forces in the war against terrorism and to eliminate the militant groups and organizations especially Daash, because Daash occupied a large number of Iraqi territory. Australian Forces are fighting to save the Iraqi people and to save its natural resources.
