Iraq Will Get a Financial Support More Than $ 6.4 Billion From IMF: Zebari

Iraqi Dinar 123 News:– On Tuesday, the Iraqi Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari issued a statement that Iraq is waiting to get a financial support which is estimated at more than 6.4 billion U.S dollars. After a meeting with the officials of the International Monetary Fund, donors and other international financial institutions in Jordan, a press statement released by Hoshyar Zebari, he added that Iraq will receive at least 6.4 billion U.S dollars very soon. It is important that Hoshyar Zebari met with the President of IMF mission for Iraq and both sides were agreed to continue talks and the next session is expected next month.

Hoshyar Zebari didn’t explain more, but he confirmed that Iraq will start discussion in the month of April 2016 with the International Monetary Fund regarding the demand of loan and this amount will be used to support Iraqi economy. Point to be noted that Iraq has been experiencing critical economic crisis due to continuous downfall in the global oil prices and a large amount of expenses used to control security situation in the country. Iraqi security forces are fighting with Daash organization and other militant groups and they have taken back a large amount of Iraqi land that was occupied by the terrorist groups and Daash organization.
