Integrity Commission: bribes rates rose nearly fifty percent

INTEGRITY COMMISSION: BRIBES RATES ROSE NEARLY FIFTY PERCENT IN THE INSTITUTIONS OF THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT

Integrity Commission has announced an increase in rates of bribes in official circles during the month of December last by about 50 percent from their levels for the month of November of last year. A statement by the Commission today that “the outcome of the analysis of the results of the monthly survey conducted by the Integrity Indicators phenomenon of bribery in state institutions showed it increased to 4.41% during the last month of last year after it shrank during November to below 3%.”

“The questionnaire Authority in December included 24374 auditor in 409 districts in Baghdad and other provinces except for the Kurdistan region, where he confirmed in 1065 whom they paid bribes to employees with no pay 22869 verse sums along with 240 others neglect to disclose whether they paid bribes or abstained.”
