50% of world`s wealth held by 85 people

A report from Oxfam International, an anti-poverty organization, which has been published in the World Economic Convention, reveal that 50% of world`s wealth is owned by 85 people.

The report shows that 5% of world`s wealth, which accounts for 241 trillion dollars, has not been invested, while 110 trillion dollars have been held by world`s wealthiest people.

The accumulation of this wealth is considered a threat to world`s economy and politics. The Oxfam International CEO fears that world`s investors and rich people use their wealth to gain political power.
